Hi, I am getting an 8 day swiss pass and trying to figure out how to get from Como San Giovanni station to Luzern on October 25th using the swiss pass or for part of the travel. I am looking for the most direct route. Any suggestions would be welcomed! thank you.

Hi Grubern,

The Swiss Timetable will give you the most direct route. http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable

You only need to buy a ticket from Como S. Giovanni to Chiasso. From there your Swiss Travel Pass will cover your trip.

The most direct route will take you via the 57km long Gotthard Base Tunnel. If you want to see a bit more scenery enter via Göschenen in your search to follow the Gotthard Panorama Express route.
