Hello Carlo and Welcome to MySwissAlps Forum,
Train. See the Swiss Railways timetable here http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable
Depending on how long you are visiting and the sort of things you want to do then a Swiss Travel Pass or similar may be beneficial. You can read about the options here http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/ticketspasses
Hi CarloZaff,
It will really depend on how much other travel you are planning on doing while in Switzerland as Rockoyster noted.
If you are staying in Grindelwald and just training to and from Zurich airport (or another airport) you could also look Swiss Transfer Pass as well.
There are several rail passes to look at – have a look through the link from Rockoyster and let us know more details of your travel plans for further help.
It is just a day trip from Saturday to a Sunday. So the only transportation I would need is from Zurich to Grindelwald and back to the airport. Thank you
You may be able to find a SuperSaver ticket as well. On the timetable, discounted tickets are noted with a % sign.
The first price noted on the timetable is the half fare price. You need to click on the train you want and enter your details and then it will give you the regular price for the trip (if you don’t have a Swiss Half Fare Card; the purchase of which wouldn’t make sense for just one trip.
