What is the significance of the larger red lines as opposed to the thinner ones? Do the larger lines represent faster trains?

    Hi Debra,

The thicker lines on the map, I believe, represent just the main lines within Switzerland and may mean the faster regional trains are typically running on them but not always.

If you are looking for the fastest routes follow the timetable.
