Swiss Half Fare Card, using with international tix

    Dear All,

    I am Ankur Nangia , I am travelling Europe from 1st June to 18 June 2017, I am travelling Swiss from Paris on 07 June 2017 and will be there till 12 June , I just want to now if i buy Half Fare Card ( Swiss ) online from India.

    a) Does i need to buy tickets ( Discounted Half Fare ) tickets at swiss stations only? or i can buy discounted Tickets online from India by using Half Fare Card?

    b) I am travelling from Paris To Lucerne , so after buying Half Fare Swiss Card should i buy Paris to Basel Ticket and Basel to Lucerne ( Discounted Fare ) Tickets?

    Kindly Advise.

    Hi Ankur,

    Have a look at this page on the Swiss Half Fare Card pricing. This will show you the retailer options to buy a ticket with the proper discount.

    2) If that does not work check out the SBB site here.

    3) For International tickets (if the above two don’t work for you) than you can split the ticket: Paris to Basel here. And Basel to Luzern using option one or 2 above.

    Staffed desks and machines sell nearly all tickets so that can work as well when you are in Switzerland.
