Hello All,
Extremely grateful for all the great advice we have found on the MySwissAlps website. We used this to create an itinerary for our upcoming trip (sept 14-sept 24) and would love some feedback on the spots we selected to visit. Since it is our very first Euro trip, we are very open to any other travel/activity suggestions. We love the outdoors and are major foodies. Thank you in advance!!
– Arrive in Zurich. (late night)
– Morning leave for Lucerne (explore for couple of hrs and then head to Mt. Pilatus)
– Mt Rigi – entire day
– Travel to Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen. Hike to Gimmelwald.
– Morning leave for Jungfraujoch. Explore Ice Palace, Oberhoffen castle
– Morning leave for Schynige Platte
– Morning leave for Zermatt. Explore Matterhorn
– Continue next day in Zermatt – Gornegrat station, rotenboden on the way down.
– Possibly spend a day at the Cambrian Hotel (geothermal pool)
– Leave for Bern to catch flight to Paris.
