Hi! looking for recommendations on the rail system.

My husband and I will be landing in Zurich and taking the train to Lucerne. We will be in Lucerne for two nights and one day we are doing a day trip up to Mt Pilatus.

After we will travel to Grindelwald. We will be in Grindelwald for two nights and are planning to go to Mt First one day (or should we be going to Jungfrau?)

From Grindelward — we need to get to Paris…

1) what is the rail best method for our trip? Is the Swiss Rail worth it, or should we be purchasing individual tickets each ride?

2) what is the best way to get Lucerne to Grindelwald?

3) what is the best site to purchase rail tickets on to paris?

4) any must see/dos for our 4 days in Lucerne/Grindelwald?

5) any hiking/biking tours anyone can recommend?

1) The Swiss Travel Pass normally does offer lots of value and comfort for travelling, for details on the pass, please see below link. Make sure you check all available tabs, especially the one on “Where it’s valid”, providing you with a fantastic pdf map of validity.
