I just bought a Half Fare Travel Pass for my tour of Switzerland in late Jun 2018. I like some clarification regarding ticket booking on SBB Mobile. For example if the cost of train ticket from Zurich Flughfen to Brig is CHF 46 when I booked ticket online, do I pay CHF 23 (i.e. half of CHF46)?

With the SBB mobile app you need to edit the passenger information to indicate whether you are wanting to buy full-fare (1/1) or half-fare tickets (1/2). The app will then show you the correct price for any trip. By my calculations the full fare for that trip is CHF92 so you obviouosly have the app set for half-fare travel. Sorry to disappoint. 🤓

When you search for a route and then click the train that you want to buy a ticket for; a pop-up will come on the screen asking if you have the 1/2 fare or not.
