Hello, We ( 2 adults + 1 child, 13 years) plan to travel from Venice, Italy to St Moritz in June second week. We wish to take a train and complete the journey in day. How do we go about the train booking & reservations? Is this included in the Swiss Travel Pass? Or equivalent Italian train pass? Or is it better to take a separate train ticket? I am not sure because of the two countries involved and the additional confusion of the Bernina Express train. Are there normal trains in addition to Bernina Express on this route? Kindly advise.

Use the Swiss Train Timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) to plan your travel. If you haven’t used it before it will pay to read the instructions on that page before delving into the timetable.

Swiss Travel Pass only works within Switzerland.

Regular trains operate on the same route as the Bernina Express from Tirano.
