    Hi,

We’re camping at Campsite Les Frassettes, Villars-Gryon, and according to their website the tourist tax we pay will also give us free access to all equipment, cable cars, mountain train, public bus, swimming pool, etc. Details are here: http://www.villars-diablerets.ch/Z5421

This seems too good to be true? Is it really free for us all to use the cable cars, mountain trains, buses, etc in the area?Do you know how much the tourist tax is?

    Thanks

    Debbie

    >> Is it really free for us all to use the cable cars, mountain trains, buses, etc in the area?

Yes. There are quite a few places that offer something similar, including St. Moritz and Saas-Fee. They seem to be places that are principally ski resorts, and so have their peak season in the winter. Their free transport offers are designed to attract visitors to stay in the area during the summer months as well.

Just a few francs. The tourist tax rates are at the bottom of the home page of the Campsite Les Frassettes:

Thanks that’s amazing value. Fingers crossed for good weather so we can make the most of it.
