Hi, we are a family of 4 adults visiting Zurich from Feb 25-27. However our accommodation is in Herlliberg and the closest train station to the accommodation would Winkel am Zurichsee/Herliberg Feldmeilen train station. What would be the most economical option to make multiple trips to Zurich from the train stations? What pass should I be purchasing?

No, I will be visiting Lucerne, Interlaken and Geneva. However I have a 5 day swiss pass already reserved for the days that I am not in Zurich. Hence if there is a cheaper way than buying Swiss pass for another 2 days in Zurich.

    Hi Rickste,

A single journey adult ticket from Feldmeilen to Zurich based on full fare is CHF8.80. A return journey would cost you CHF17.60, which would be valid for 24 hours. This may be the most practical option for you if your plan includes only sightseeing in Zurich. Another option is to get the Zurich Card at CHF27 for 24 hours, and CHF53 for 72 hours. You can find the link to the Zurich Card website here: http://www.myswissalps.com/zurich/travel

    Hope that helps!

    Regards,

    Anna

    Hi Rickste,

Yes the Zurich Card provides unlimited travel in Zurich and surrounding areas and this includes Feldmeilen.

Please note: Feldmeilen is not included. It is one train stop beyond Winkel, which is the last included station in zone 140. Please see the links under “More on other websites” on the page Anna linked to. So you’d need an additional ticket for that short leg.
