We have a list of areas we would like to visit in early October. Do you think we will be able to walk on snow at any of them? Some of our party are from Thailand and would like to walk on snow.

Rigi, Kl. Scheidegg: no. I don’t know about the others on your list.

Klein Matterhorn: yes.

Rigi is more of a hill than a mountain by Swiss standards so I would avoid that one as Snowman says.
