Weekend trips in Switzerland

Hello,
I am Sahil Aggarwal, student of IIT Delhi. I am here for 2 months as an intern in Univ of Neuchatel, neuchatel. I was wondering if you could suggest me 3-4 weekend trips that cover MAJOR and "MUST SEE" tourist destinations in Switz. Any kind of help will be highly appreciated. Since the coming weekend will be an extended weekend I am planning to go out with my friends.

Hello Sahil. Some of the 'must see' experiences include the Gornergrat near Zermatt, the Jungfraujoch near Interlaken/Wengen and viewing points near lake Lucerne, such as Pilatus and Rigi. I suggest you browse this forum and visit the day trip sections on the Bernese Oberland and Wallis to find some more ideas; there are so many that it takes some research to find out what appeals to you most. I'm sure you'll be able to select some great weekend trips! Have fun!
