<<“I will be at Wengen on 1st March 2018, from airport 8:00am to Wengen arrived probably at 1pm.”>>
Hi Sinja89-
Most trails will be blocked by snow. March is still ski season, which tends to taper off in late March or early April, although some skiing persists later. Altitude matters, and March is still Winter at high altitude.

Some trails are groomed during the winter, but toward Spring, they stop maintaining them.
I’m not sure where to look, but you best bet would be some groomed winter trails.
Maybe, the nice short walk from Grütschalp to Mürren would be available:

Others more familiar with Winter conditions in that area may be more help. Hope so, because the area is beautiful when covered with snow.

Hello Slowpoke,
I did some research for Grütschalp to Mürren hike.
They recommend the hike from Grütschalp to Mürren for the best view . In this case, what is the best way to go to Grütschalp from Wengen ?
Thanks

Hi Sinja

Train down the hill from Wengen, then cableway from Lauterbrunnen up to Grütschalp.
As Chantal mentioned, use the timetable. Start at Wengen, finish at Grütschalp.
It will show you the route and timings.
To understand that better, you might like to use this map:
map.search.ch/?pos=636790,161076&z=12 8&poi=bergbahn
For some reason, my version is not showing the name “Grütschalp” at the end of straight line for the cableway to the left (west) of Lauterbrunnen. Zoom at the cableway icon in where the line bends…perhaps it will already show the change to the train on your screen. If not, zoom in and you can see the station:

I prefer to walk from Grütschalp to Muerren. Although it is modestly uphill, you look toward the Jungfrau and Eiger as you walk toward them.
It is not a full day walk.

This map gives tremendous detail:

I have turned on”Hiking Trails” in the menus.
