Hi- You all have been so helpful! Thank you.

We will be in Wengen in September for 3 full days, staying at Hotel Alpenrose. We will have a Swiss Rail Pass . Can you suggest a daily itinerary. We are open to anything that allows us to enjoy the area. Thank you. All the best.

Plenty of options listed at http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfrauregion/activities and http://www.myswissalps.com/wengen/activities. That should get you started. Just check the timetables to figure out what travel times you are comfortable with. You know how to check where the Swiss Travel Pass is valid I think.

From Lauterbrunnen a very nice circuit to do is to Grütschalp (cable car), Mürren (train), Gimmelwald (cable car), Stechelberg (cable car), Lauterbrunnen (bus). From Mürren you can easily visit Schilthorn (don’t miss The Thrill Walk at Birg) and even Allmendhubel if you have time. In between Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen the bus stops at the Trummelbach Falls. Well worth a look. The entire circuit and side trips are free with the Swiss Travel Pass in 2019 apart from the Allmendhubel Funicular (50% discount) and the Falls (modest entry fee). In 2020 Mürren to Schilthorn will be 50% discount.

    That’s one day covered. 😎

Here’s a nice map to give you an idea of the transport connections.

Sorry a bit confused. Just to clarify:

    1. Grutschalp cable car to Murren train station. 2. Murren train station to Gimmelwald cable car. 3.Grimmelwald cable car to Stechelberg 4. Stechelberg cable car back to Lauterbrunnen 4. bus from Lauterbrunnen back to Wengen.

First you need to get to Lauterbrunnen. Then from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp (by cable car), to Mürren (by train), to Gimmelwald (by cable car), to Stechelberg (by cable car), to Lauterbrunnen (by bus).

The train arrives at one end of Mürren and there is about a 5 – 15 minute walk (depending on how long you spend gazing at the amazing scenery) from there to the Schilthorn cableway base at the other side of the village.

To get to Lauterbrunnen from Wengen and return to Wengen is a train.

It will be obvious if you check the timetables and the map I linked to.

Possibly. There is a tourist information office in Wengen. It is near the Wengen-Männlichen cable car base station.
