    Hi all,

I booked a 3 nights hotel in Wengen for late August (Aug 23 – 25), and found out the room doesn’t have air conditioning. Would A/C be needed at that time for a nights? Thank you.

    Hi Vince,

In the mountains, when it gets too warm during summer, you could probably just leave the hotel room windows open to stay cool. But if you find it extremely warm, you could probably request for a portable fan or ventilator to use in the room. Most hotels without air-conditioning do provide this now in case of a heatwave (which is becoming quite common). So be sure to check with your hotel in advance.

    Regards,

    Anna

I don’t believe any hotels in Wengen have A/C. It’s not needed. We’ve based in Wengen 26 times for stays of anywhere from a week to three months.

In the unusual case when it becomes very very warm during the day it always cools off at night. In fact, when leaving our apartment or hotel to have dinner out in the evenings we always take a sweater!

    Hi Vlau7772,

At https://www.hotelscombined.com/Place/Wengen.htm you can filter the hotels to have AC in the room. Try that one. 🙂
