    Hello,

Kindly confirm if we want to take the scenic routes by train from Wengen to Zermatt, the routes will be:

    1. Wengen to Lauterbrunnen

    2. Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken Ost

    3. Interlaken Ost to Spiez (direction Basel)

    4. Spiez to Brig – LÖTSCHBERGER (direction Domodossola)

    5. Brig to Zermatt

These routes taken from SBB website (I insert Wengen to Zermatt via Kandersteg) and the total jurney is 4 hrs 18 mins.

Are these routes the right ones for scenic journey?

If we want to drive, can we take the scenic routes as well?

    Thank you in advance!

Yes, you have the correct route for the scenery.

Don’t drive – enjoy the scenery.

    Hi deedee,

You can drive but not quite the same route (via Grimsel Pass if you are going later in the summer). I’d definitely take the train at any time of year.
