Hello!! We are travelling to Grindelwald for 4 days and Zermatt for 3 days, from 2nd July to 9th. We will be hopefully going up to Jungfraujoch, Gornergrat and Klein Matterhorn. Would appreciate advice about what sort of clothing we should definitely pack for this trip? Should we have summer clothes Grindelwald and Zermatt and winter clothes for the mountains?

Thank you for your advice.

Hi MAry,

I'm not sure about winter clothes, but be prepated for temperatures around 0 degrees especially at Jungfraujoch. Best to pack layers with you (sweater with a windproof rain jacket). It could be as high as 15 or so at the top as well.

All the mountains have websites like this one for Jungfraujoch. Weather changes dramatically as you go higher in elevation.
Zurich is 32 degrees today, Interlaken is 23, Wengen is 17 and at the top it is 10 degrees -this is all in the Jungfrau region. Check here for Zermatt - currently Zermatt is 24, Klein Matterhorn is 2 degrees and Gornergrat is 9 degrees

Hence packing a little of everything and layered so you can take them on and off as needed.
