Where to go for snow playground near Luzern?

    Hi! I’ll be travelling with 2 small children (3 + 2) and my elderly mother. We are quite set to go to Luzern, however, we are hoping to be able to stay near the snow without having to stay in a ski resort. Are there any snow playgrounds or general snow sites which are not full of skiers? We will be there in early February. Thank you!! Hi

    Hi Slk85 and welcome to MySwissAlps!

    The three nearby mountains will have a good amount of snow on them when you visit. You can stay in Luzern to visit them without too much issue – use the Swiss railways timetable here to see the trip duration from wherever you end up staying.

    The mountains are Mt. Pilatus, Mt. Titlis and Mt. Rigi. If you want to stay near and focus on one mountain I would choose Mt. Titlis (most to do/see I think) and you could stay nearby in Engelberg.
