Non-EU driving licences exchange for Swiss license

    Could someone please advise which non-EU country driving licences can be exchanged for a Swiss driver’s licence once I move to Geneva.

    Hi MariaH and welcome to MySwissAlps!

    It is best to check with the local canton you will be moving to (they can have different rules). This website though may be of help: https://www.ch.ch/en/i nternational-driving-licence/

    I haven’t seen a full list anywhere to give you at the moment. I was able to easily convert my Canadian driver’s license (within 1 year of moving here) but my friend from Argentina had to go through all the normal tests just like he had never driven before.
