I am visiting in May 2015 and would like to enjoy the magnificent views along the Lavaux wineyards. We are couple with 6 year old daughter. So we do not prefer very long walks. I have shortlisted that we will reach Chexbres abd then walk to St Sapohrin. Need suggestions and advice on : 1) this is route walkable with kids – how many miles?2) how to find the route – are there signage 3) can we do this walk during late afternoon like 4.00 PM onwards?

    Hello vdurve,

The route looks easy and short; it should not take more than 45 minutes. A map can be found on wanderland.ch. There will be yellow signs along the way. You can walk there as long as there’s daylight, which is until at least 8:30 PM in May. Alternatives can be found here: myswissalps.com/ lakegeneva/activities.

    Have fun!
