Hello Pjsplace5 and Welcome to MySwissAlps,
Time for some calculations . . .
Based on your personal itinerary you should read “How to choose the best travel pass” (http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/chooserailpass), download the handy spreadsheet calculator and do the math. The spreadsheet also includes links to the “Where it’s valid” page for all available passes. Be sure to check those pages for each pass you are considering. Study the map AND read all the text on those pages to fully understand what is covered by the respective pass.
For checking timetables see http://www.myswissalps.com/forum/topic/checking-train-timetables.
Going from Zermatt to Lauterbrunnen via St Moritz is quite a long way round and involves around 14 hours train travel compared to about 3 if you went a more direct route. Just saying. 😉
See also http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/france for getting from Paris to Switzerland.

Hi Pjsplace5,
in addition to Rockoyster’s excellent answer: I think if you overnight in St. Moritz then it can be ok to travel that much especially if you wish to travel by the Glacier Express (http://www.myswissalps.com/glacierexpress).
You can read about the Golden Pass at http://www.myswissalps.com/goldenpass.

Thank you! That is what I thought too! I know the Glacier Express is an 8 hr train ride, that is why we are spending the night in St Moritz. This is our first trip to Switzerland and we want to see as much as we can by train. I think it is another 6 hours to Lauterbrunnen from St Moritz. It is also our first time to travel by train! Does the Euro pass help with train fare in Switzerland or do we need the Swiss Pass?We are also going into Austria, Germany and Prague. Coming from Amsterdam and France into Switzerland!

Correct, from Lauterbrunnen to St Moritz it takes at least 6 hours (http://www.myswissalps.com/timetable).
Do you mean the Eurail Global Pass? It is valid on most of the train routes in Switzerland and also some of the cable cars and most boats are discounted, you can see the validity map of the Eurail Global Pass at http://www.myswissalps.com/eurailglobalpass/validity.
If you are not sure about the rail pass, you’ll find a guide and a calculation spreadsheet at http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/chooserailpass, it helps you to choose the best rail pass for your holiday.
As you are coming from France to Switzerland: http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/france.
