Greetings, we will be in Zermatt in early November and we would want to go snowboarding at the Zermatt Snow Park up in the glacier. I understand that I need to purchase a Matterhorn Glacier Paradise ticket to get up there. So my question is:

– do I need to purchase a separate ski lift pass on top of the glacier paradise ticket to access the ski lifts up there?

– or is purchasing a lift pass sufficient to get me up there?

– what other ways to be able to reach the snow park?

Hi Wdy 24,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! I recommend to walk over to the valley station of the cableway (see this map: http://www.myswissalps.com/kl einmatterhorn/gettingt here), explain about your plans, and they will sell you a ticket for the lift up and down and the ski lifts at the top. They also know which runs are open and what the weather is like. Be sure to go up early unless you’re sure about low temperatures and enough snow.

You just get a normal ski pass for the Matterhorn Paradise area

On the Matterhorn side it can be fun to get an international pass and ski/board over to the Italian side (if the link is open) (cheaper prices in Italy too)
