    Hi All,

Planning a 9-10 days trip to Switzerland this June with family (2 Adults + 2 kids, 3 yr and 8 yr old). The plan is as follow. Which travel pass would make most sense and economical for 4 of us? Any suggestions?

Day 1 – Land in Zurich in morning and travel to Wengen

Day2 to Day 5- Wengen – 4 complete days in and around Wengen

Day 6 – Wengen to Lucerne with sight seeing enroute

Day 7 to Day9 in Lucerne and around

Day 10 – Depart from Zurich.

    Thanks,

    KP

    Hi KP,

The only pass that will cover all your travel plans is the Swiss Travel Pass – read more about where it is valid and how to buy here. You could buy the 15 day pass to make sure you cover all days and then you can just hop on any train you like, when you like. This is certainly the simplest option. You can then get the free Swiss Family Card add-on to cover your 8 year old as well (the 3 year old travels free all the time).

You could opt for the 8 day Swiss Travel Pass and then choose to use it on days 1 to 8 or days 3 to 10 (whichever looks more expensive) and then buy point to point tickets on the other 2 days.
