    Hello experts,

i am in Zermatt right now and will be exiting Switzerland via Zurich. I wanted to carry home a bottle of williams with a pear inside the bottle. Where should i buy it? At most coop/migros I see williams but without pear fruit inside the bottle.

    Please advice.

You know I can’t recall the last time I saw Williamine with the pear in it…

Have you tried a liquor store in Zermatt? Have you asked your hotel?

Skip the pear. It displaces too much alcohol!

Was trying to get one with the pear as a sovenier and for visual delight.

Do you have any recommendation for the brand of William to go with (without the pear).

Wiliamine as mentioned by Lucas is the genuine Swiss article. There are also French variants. You don’t happen to be passing Martigny by any chance? That’s where it is made so they should have one of these.

ps My philosophy is that liqueurs are meant to be savoured not looked at. 🥂

Yes, but how do they get the pear in the bottle? Hint.

I’d try to ask locally…maybe tourism information or at the grocery stores. They may well know another store or town you can find it at.
