Dear Friends -

We will be spending two weeks in Central Switzerland, one week in Lucerne and one week in Wengen, and we will be traveling with a Swiss Pass. We plan to visit Bern and Montreaux, at least, on this trip. This will be our third trip to this amazingly beautiful part of the world.

We are interested in visiting a winery with a tasting room that might represent some of the Swiss wines that are so popular in the region. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance,

DD

Hi DD,

Welcome to MySwissAlps. Your third visit includes some wonderful areas! I'd suggest to explore the Lavaux vineyards on foot and visit a winery. Please see:

I did the hike, which is highly recommended. I didn't visit the winery myself. I'm not an expert but I really liked the local wines.

Thank you!

Will definitely visit the vinorama!! Great idea to hike around first!
