    Hi Max,

there is no need for a winter jacket, but you should take a jacket with you and more important be prepared for rain and sun too (sunscreen and thin raincoat). Layered clothing is the key during the summer too. See this, it will help you to prepare even if you won’t hike: http://www.myswissalps.com/hiking/preparation.

    Hi Tukaikol,

We stayed in Airbnb. It was a lovely apartment, master bedroom with King Size bed, and living room has a large Queen Size Sofa bed, very comfortable for 4 of us. The apartment has an amazing view of the Matterhorn from the bedroom and living room. We enjoyed our stay so much. You can find our experience in my trip report above, see Day 11 and 12. I even have some pictures from the apartment to Matterhorn posted here.

Our host was also very helpful, communication was great via whatsapp. She does not stay in Zermatt, but has someone who is taking care of the apartment there, so no issue at all. You can search the apartment at Airbnb, put Zermatt in your search and find the title “ZERMATT central view Matterhorn”.

    Hi Tukaikol,

you can find accommodation in Zermatt at http://www.myswissalps.com/zermatt/hotels and http://www.myswissalps.com/zermatt/rentals.

I am glad that Melzach03 had good experiences, although we recommend to be aware with Airbnbs. You find the reason at http://www.myswissalps.com/accommodation/airbnb.
