Hi, our family are travelling from Australia and will be staying in Lucerne from 22 – 29 Dec. there’s 5 adults and 3 children ( under 4 ). Does anyone have suggestions for us. Where would be a good place for a Xmas lunch or Xmas eve dinner. Also where would be the best place for some snow fun for us and the kids? none of us are skiers but was thinking of tobogganing or sleigh rides etc. thanks

Hi jokid57 and welcome to MySwissAlps!

There are several mountains near Luzern should have a good amount of snow for fun in late December. They are often a good bet around Christmas time for activities as most towns will be essentially closed from Dec.24-26 (except hotels and train stations etc).

Mt. Titlis is the highest mountain in the area (always snow) and has tobogganing, snowshoeing and a snow park.
