Hi! It’s the mountain rollercoasters. For example, I think there is one in Grindelwald called
Pfingsteggbahn.

I haven’t been on any yet – look fun! As far as I know there are two in your area:

Hi,
The toboggan is called a Rodelbahn in german and it’s a hoot! It’s near the top station of the Pfingsteggbahn. You sit on a sled, push the joy stick forward and off you go.
A good walk to do after your Rodelbahn ride is to Baeregg which starts from there and runs parallel to the Lower Glacier into the mountains. The path used to lead to a lovely mountain hut and restaurant called Stieregg, but the ground it sat on is unstable, so, before it fell onto the glacier, they burnt it down and rebuilt it nearby. I’d been to Stieregg a couple of times and plan to go to Baerreg in September. You do need to be a bit agile though. There is a short, steep section near the beginning that is a bit of a scramble.

We went up Pfingstegge today as we wanted to do the toboggan run. However it started to rain and the ride cannot run even if there is a spot of water in the air. We plan to try Kanstersteg later in the week as there is one there: http://www.oeschinensee.ch/en /summer/alpine-slide/
