first i would like to thank you for this amazing and helpful site.
Me & my husband are travelling to celebrate my 60th birthday part of the trip is in Switzerland.
– arriving at Zermatt from Geneva by train on May 7th mid day planning to enjoy walking around town
– 8th celebrating my birthday on the Klein Matterhorn – Glacier Paradise
– 9th need your recommendation for maybe a short walk or hick
– 10th train to St Moritz (tried booking the Glacier Express but it seems not seats available!) would appreciate your advise and recommendation
—11th St Moritz exploration then off to Milan
Hotels are already booked, but excursions and travel not yet.
Please advise on trains and excursions also recommend if better to buy separate tickets for travel and excursions or in our get a pass

It’s unfortunate that you were unable to book seats on the Glacier Express to St Moritz. You can still travel with the regular trains but this will require several train changes to get to your destination. You can find information about the Glacier Express route here: http://www.myswissalps.com/glacierexpress/gettingthere. A faster and more straightforward option would be to take the fast train from Zermatt to Zurich and then take a connecting train to St Moritz from Zurich.
