Hi,

we will be in Zermatt 13-16 June, arriving by train from Milan, then travelling to Brienz, 16-20 June, then need to get to Zurich to catch a plane on 20 June.

what would you recommend for rail passes? While we are in Brienz, I expect we will go to Grindelwald and the Jungfrau. Potentially some lake ferries.

quick other question -if we are travelling by train from Milan, but have a Swiss rail pass, what’s your advice, buy the cheapest ticket to the first city over the border?

So I book and pay for Milan to Domodossola, and then my Swissrailpass kicks in – and I just stay on the express train through to Visp, for the connection to Zermatt? Is that right?
