Hi Freddy and welcome to MySwissAlps!

There are several panoramic trains in Switzerland (I think all routes are scenic though). Have a look at the options for panoramic trains here: http://www.myswissalps.com/ac tivities/scenictrips/t rain

The one that makes the most sense would be the Glacier Express train: http://www.myswissalps.com/gl acierexpress – however the train isn’t operating until Dec 9 (they take it offline for the November off-season). You can however take regional trains on the exact same route.

You can travel from Zermatt to Chur and then you can then connect onto a train to Zurich. A quicker option that is also quite scenic is to travel Zermatt to Zurich via Kandersteg (on the Lötschberg route).

    Hello Freddy,

Just to add to what Lucas said … if you just enter via Kandersteg you will probably be routed to Bern to join the Regio-Express Lötschberger train to take you to Spiez, Kandersteg and Brig then on to Zermatt. Another scenic addition is to go to Spiez via Luzern and Interlaken on the Golden Pass Line (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass) and join the Regio-Express Lötschberger at Spiez.
