    Hi,

We are reaching Zurich on 12th Oct early morning and need to go to Montreux. Trainline.eu shows a route via Lausanne which takes approx 3 hours to reach Montreux from Zurich.

I was wondering if it is possible to do a part of the journey via Golden Line? Where can I get the details of the fastest route with may be Zweisimmen to Montreux on golden pass line.

Also wanted to check how to recognize from train number if the train is on Golden pass line?

    Regards, Swati

    Hi Swati,

If you want the fastest option to Montreux that still includes a panoramic train between Zweisimmen and Montreux then you want to travel via Bern. The timetable will always give you the fastest options by default. Enter Zurich to Zweisimmen in the timetable: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable

If you want to do the whole Golden Pass route (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass) enter Zurich to Montreux via Lucerne and via Interlaken.

For the Zweisimmen to Montreux route, the trains on the timetable noted as MOB panoramic are the panoramic trains.
