Zurich via Amsterdam from USA

    Hello experts,

    I am travelling from Seattle, USA to Zurich via Amstradam. I booked a single ticket and wanted to check if I would have to go through immigration and collect my checked-in luggage at Amstradam? Or at Zurich?

    If you booked one single ticket I reckon you collect your checked in luggage in Zurich.

    Yes, as far as I know it is only in the US where you have to get your bags and go through immigration even when you are connecting to another country. I avoid connecting through the US whenever possible for this reason. 🙂
