How to get there and back

First you need to travel to Wiler. This village can be reached by car or by bus (bus stop "Wiler Lötschen") from Goppenstein. Then take the gondola from Wiler to Lauchernalp.

The end point is a parking lot just outside the settlement of Fafleralp. You can take the bus to Wiler/Goppenstein from there.

Route

From the cable car station at the Lauchernalp, head for Fafleralp/Lötschentaler Höhenweg. Follow the signs to Fafleralp Parkplatz/Postauto as you reach the settlement of Fafleralp, 10 minutes before the end point. Just before the parking lot, you can leave the asphalt road to reach the parking lot via a pedestrian bridge at your left.
