About the trail

This is a good hike to adapt to the height during the first days of your vacation. The route is fairly easy, but it’s in high-alpine terrain.

You will walk along the Lago Bianco. There is a dam in the lake; water on one side flows via the river Inn and the Donau to the Black Sea and water on the other side flows via the river Adda and the Po to the Adriatic Sea.

A forest follows. Then, a magnificent view of the town of Poschiavo and Italy unfolds. The glacier Vadret da Palü can be seen from the terrace at the endpoint Alp Grüm. This is the perfect place for a culinary reward with an amazing panorama.

Traveling, hiking and photographing in the Swiss Alps are my absolute favorite activities.
