Cablecars often are closed in Low Season for maintenance, yes? We will be in Lucerne 12-14 April 2018. Where do I find information on Cablecars for tourists that may be not operating then?

In addition to the mountain transport mentioned on the page rockoyster linked to, here is information about some other mountain transport in the area:

• Funicular Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock wharf to Bürgenstock resort – operates all year

• Hammetschwand Lift – not likely to reopen until 5 May 2018

• Cable car Weggis to Rigi Kaltbad – closed for maintenance 3-27 April 2018. All other transport to the Rigi is operating

• Funicular Schwyz to Stoos – closed for maintenance 3-27 April 2018

• Funicular and cable car to the Stanserhorn – reopens 14 April after winter break
