Do train seat reservations need to indicate individual names for each passenger ? I reserved 3 seats for my family on the Belle Époque train and the confirmation only indicates my name, unlike in our Swiss travel passes where each pass contains name and passport info.

    Hi Yvette17,

Reservations may or may not have names on them. It does not sound like there’s an issue. You can attach an image of the reservations here so I can have a look if you want.

    Hi Yvette17,

Thanks! It looks perfectly fine to me. Seats 41, 42 and 48 have been reserved for you. I have never been asked for an ID when the staff checked seat reservations. If they do in your case then your ID should be sufficient as it shows your name only. Apart from this they may want to check the IDs printed on the Swiss Travel Passes for each passenger.

    Enjoy the ride!
