Oberalppass is on the Matterhorn Gotthardbahn (MGB railway from Disentis/Muster (in the east) to Andermatt (in the west).

Most direct route would be Zürich – Erstfeld – Göschenen – Andermatt, but since the opening of the Gotthard base tunnel SBB has made it hard to get to Göschenen as you need to change trains at Erstfeld.

The alternative is to go the other way round, ie Zurich – Chur (SBB); Chur – Disentis/Muster (RhB); Disentis – Oberalppass (MGB).

PDF for Chur – Oberalppass Here:

This PDF is even more helpful for you as it shows connections from Zürich Flughafen

    Hello Tom,

I’m not sure if you’re traveling with your bike? If so, you can take it with you on the trains: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/practical/luggage.
