How to reach your hotel in Wengen

Wengen is a fairly small town, so most hotels are at walking distance from the train station. That is where most day trips start. If your hotel is too far away for you to comfortably handle your luggage, the staff can usually pick you up from the rail station.

Rooms with mountain views

Wengen has grand views of the Lauterbrunnen Valleys, the Jungfrau and the mountain range west of it. Check your room description to be sure of the view you’ll have. South-facing rooms with a balcony are generally best.

Free local transport with the Guest Card

The hotels provide a free Guest Card when you check in. It provides discounts on local attractions and cableways.

I spent many summers in the Bernese Oberland, which still feels like my second home, and then started to explore other areas. Traveling, hiking and photographing in the Swiss Alps are my absolute favorite activities.
