Grindelwald-First from Wengen: best time and tickets for activities

    Greetings!  We will be staying in Wengen mid September and want to visit Grindelwald First. Please advise the best time of day to go and how to pre purchase tickets for the Flyer and the glider and mountain cart ahead of time to avoid having to waste our valuable time in lines if possible?  We will have Swiss travel pass. Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi BradT,

    September is still a busy travel season, and the activities at Grindelwald-First are popular. I’d travel up first thing in the morning, and arrive at the gondola valley station well before the gondolas start operating (they do so from 08:00). There, you can buy your activity tickets, which currently aren’t for sale online, and get in line for the gondolas.

    It’s the best chance you have to beat the crowds :-).
