Grütschalp – Winterberg – Mürren,then Schilthorn
A traveler is planning a hike from Grütshalp to Mürren, followed by a train ride to the Schilthorn. They are considering two options to reduce fatigue for their kids while maximizing views. They also want to know if it makes sense to do the Schilthorn visit before their scheduled paragliding trip in Mürren.
- Option A offers better views, especially near Mürren, so consider hiking from Grütshalp to Winteregg and then taking the train to Mürren.
- If your paragliding appointment is in the afternoon, it should be fine to visit Schilthorn first; just ensure you return to Mürren in time.
- Always check the local transport schedules to plan your hikes and activities efficiently.

hi peeps
just wanted some suggestions.
I was thinking of doing the hike from Grütschalp – Mürren, then take a train to Schilthorn from Murren:
1. to reduce fatigue for my kids, and also to save some time i was thinking either:
a. Hike from Grutshalp to Winteregg, have coffee at Winteregg Restaurant, then train to Murren and cablecar to Schilthorn, or
b. Train from Grutshalp to Winteregg, have coffee at Winteregg Restaurant, then Hike to Murren and cablecar to Schilthorn
if i were to choose one of them, Does option A or B gives up better views or photo ops?
also, we are going to book a paragliding trip with Airtime, and i think the meeting point is Murren. am i right to say that it makes sense to meet them only after i do my Schilthorn visit?
Thanks again
