    Hi Rajikadinesh,

Bern can easily be visited on foot from the main train station, no problem. Titlis and Pilatus are also good day trips from Luzern. Jungfraujoch is far away though. A day trip would take 10 hours at the very least. I’m not sure if everyone in your group would like that. The below pages provide all the details you need for your planning. They also help to see which mountain you like best:

    Does this help?

By the way, I moved your thread from the Trip reports forum to the Miscellaneous forum as this is not a trip report.

    Hi Rajikadinesh,

I think the guided tour would be more beneficial for your group – especially if you only get 2 or 3 ipods for your group. Those with an ipod will be busy repeating everything to the others!

    Hi there

Have a look at this link as they offer free walking tours, in that you pay for what you think the tour was worth. These people often live local and are full of information. I have always been advised to use the free walking tour in the cities when on holiday to get a feel for the city. They also help with places to eat as they will often know where the locals eat (which can often be alot cheaper than other places)

Hope this helps and enjoy Switzerland

    but thats a costly affair

its almost 900 chf for our group

is that worth for the money they charge

as such you are not provided anything by tour operator except a tour guide
