thanks Lucas
we will plan accordingly
what is the cost of travel for one person having swiss travel pass from grindelwald to jungfraujoch and back to wengen
Removed userParticipant72625 posts22 May 2017 at 12:21:59 #860825kindly suggest some good places in lucerne from where we can get our vegetarian lunch packs
also suggest good cost effective restaurants in lucerne serving vegetarian food for dinner
Removed userParticipant72625 posts22 May 2017 at 12:43:16 #860826You can find the price list for Jungfraujoch on our page here – Link at the bottom of page and take 25% off as a Swiss Travel Pass holder.
I would look at local grocery stores like Migros, Denner and Coop to find vegetarian pre-packed meals.
I don’t know of any vegetarian restaurants in Luzern – maybe other members do. I did a quick Google search and found this website: https://www.happycow.n et/europe/switzerland/ luzern/

the link given by you to boom Jungfraujoch takes me to happyrail website. They are charging 148 euros per person after considering swiss travel pass discount
at same time when i visited http://www.jungfrau.ch it shows 137 chf
why there is this difference ?
thanks for suggestions for food
Removed userParticipant72625 posts23 May 2017 at 6:12:01 #860828I’m not sure, perhaps a booking fee with Happyrail? They set their own prices.
In either case I would wait til you are here and sure you are traveling to Jungfraujoch (weather permitting) and buy the ticket at the train station that morning or the day before.

in that case i will follow your advice and would buy tickets after reaching grindelwald train station
whether we will get a return ticket from grindelwald for coming down to wengen from jungfraujoch
Removed userParticipant72625 posts23 May 2017 at 8:09:53 #860830Yes good idea.
You can still buy online (that way you just hop on the train and go) but wait until 1 or 2 days before your planned trip.

can we catch gotthard panorama express on 3rd june from lucerne to lugano
we would be travelling with swiss travel pass
what would be charges for this train if we travel with swiss travel pass
whether seats reservations are required for same
Removed userParticipant72625 posts24 May 2017 at 10:26:51 #860833Yes, you can take the Gotthard Panorama Express on June 3rd but only as far as Bellinzona, you must change to a regional train to get to Lugano.
You must make reservations though (your Swiss Travel Pass covers the ticket).
Reservations can be made here.

i have visited the link for booking
but it doesnt show a option of booking with swiss travel pass
kindly guide us what we have to do for boat booking from luzern to fluelen
and train booking from fluelen to lugano
also what would be reservation charges for boat and train with swiss travel pass
Removed userParticipant72625 posts24 May 2017 at 15:00:36 #860835Hi Raj,
The boat from Luzern to Flüelen can not be reserved – just line up about 15 minutes before to get on.
There is no discount for making the reservation on the Gotthard Panorama Express. You have to pay the full reservation fee on the link I sent you earlier. You save money as you don’t need to buy a ticket on the train as you have the Swiss Travel Pass.
