Bernina Express trip from Lugano

    Hi,

    I’m hoping that someone will help me with my query.

    I am due to stay at Caddanabbia on Lake Como and wish to do the Bernina Express trip next Tuesday, 29th August. Is it possible to connect with this tour anywhere in Lake Como or must I travel to Lugano to meet with the tour there. Also, due to time constraints, I may need to travel to Lugano by taxi. Would anyone know the approximate cost of this?

    Hi Maureen and welcome to MySwissAlps!

    Are you looking for a proper tour (group)? Are you wanting to do a round-trip in one day?

    The train itself starts in Tirano but you can take the Bernina Express bus from Lugano to Tirano to meet the train.

    We have some options listed here for independent tours or package tours (mix with and without a guide). Have a look through it and let us know if you have further questions.
