How to purchase a vignette for a trailer

    I plan to travel through Switzerland at the end of this month by car with a trailer. I believe I have to purchase an extra Motorway vignette for the trailer. Is that correct and is it a different price ?

    Yes, you need a separate vignette for the trailer. You can find all needed details on our information page here – there is also a direct link there to the Swiss Federal website for further information.

    I realise that i just wondered if there was any difference in cost for a trailer.

    Hi Kevansutton,

    No, I checked the website I linked above and there is only an extra cost if the trailer is over 3.5 tonnes.
