After spending a couple of days in Lucerne we will be moving on to Wengen.
I have been studying timetables and was considering catching a train from Lucerne to Brienz and then catching a boat to Interlaken and then continuing on by train to Wengen.

Do you think this is a good plan? I thought it might be nice a trip on the lake. This trip will be in September.

    HI
Yes it is a very scenic ride, well worth the change. The steamship leaves Brienz at 1:40 and 3:40 until the middle of September. Other ships leave at 40 minutes past the hour. There is a reduced schedule after 15 sept
