Swiss Via Ferrata hikes, end of May?

    Hey everyone,

    We will be visiting Switzerland from 5/16-5/22 and were wondering if during this time any of the via ferrata hikes would be hikable?

    Hello JackCobb,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps. That’s great you are visiting Switzerland.

    Many of the Via Ferrata hikes are only suitable when the weather is fine, you may find some may not be accessible yet during May due to adverse weather conditions or if there is still snow. Typically, access is from June but this can vary. Do you have particular ones in mind?
