Titlis Ice Flyer, is it closed permanently?

    Hello,I have read on the website, that the Titlis Ice Flyer is closed.Is it permanently closed or temporarily? When can we expect it to open?We are planning to visit Titlis in the early next week. We request you to kindly revert at the earliest!!

    Its heart breaking to know Ice Flyer is not working….we were planning snow activities over there…we had even booked tickets from India… 🙁

    The closure is temporarily, but I don’t know when it will reopen or why it is closed. It might be caused by the weather (wind or snow). These sort of activities is always weather dependent.

    Any localites can confirm the reason of the closure of Ice Flyer and when can we expect it to be open?

    Hi samyakhd,

    You can best contact the Titlis team to be sure: http://www.titlis.ch. Please note that there’s never a guarantee though. This is high mountainous terrain, so facilities may close if it is very windy, for example. That applies to the Cliff Walk (suspension bridge) too. If you spend a few days in the area you can pick a good weather day to go up there.
