    Hi! 🙂

I would like to plan my itinerary and my expenses for my trip to Jungfrau in March 2017. I will start my itinerary in Winterthur ,Switzerland and I would like to know how to get to Jungfrau and how much would it cost me to get there. I also own a Swiss travel pass. I did look on internet and they give you different prices and it’s getting confusing.I think I get 25% off with my Swiss travel pass right? Where you I get my actual ticket to the Jungfrau ?.. interlaken? Lauterbrunnen? Grindelwald? kleine Sheidegg? Will the price will be the same from all of those train stations? how does it work ?

    Thank you !!

Hi Gstricker and welcome to MySwissAlps!

You can find connection times and fares with the SBB timetable here. Our page on the Swiss Travel Pass validity areas will show you:

    • Train from Grindelwald or Wengen to Jungfraujoch: 25% off
    • Train to Grindelwald or Wengen: free

So most likely your pass will cover you to Grindelwald (depending on your stating place) and then you buy a ticket from Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch at any SBB office or machine and tell them (or it) that you have a Swiss Travel Pass and you will be charged the correct amount. You can buy it ahead of time – you don’t need to get off the train at Grindelwald and buy your ticket there.

    Regards,
    Lucas
