    Hi,

We will be going to Zurich on 1215pm, 26th November. We’re travelling with 2 small kids (4yrs and 2yrs) and 6th month old baby. We’re planning to start our journey by going to Rhine falls by train. My questions are :

    1) If we cruise by boat, can we still see the Rhinefalls?

    2) How was the weather during this time around?

Another thing is, we will spend another 2 days at Interlaken. Could you please advise how to get to Brig from here? what else sightseeing activity that we can do during this time of period?. Cruise to Thun was already in our planned. Thank you for your kind help.

Hi nany114. Yes, you can make boat trips near the Rhine falls. Please visit the Rhein falls page for further information and links. It’s hard predict weather circumstances. Conditions can very each year. Maybe these statistics on averages are of help.

You can plan your trip from Interlaken to Brig with the timetable. The quickest route leads through a tunnel. The more scenic Lötschberg Express route can be found by adding ‘Goppenstein’ as a via-station.

I suggest scenic train trips to e.g. Kleine Scheidegg, Lucerne via Meringen, Zweisimmen/Gstaad for this time of the year. You can also make valley hikes and visit viewing points such as the Schilthorn and Jungfraujoch.
